Spell and Speak for Windows Phone 8
My first Windows Phone 8 app, Spell and Speak, is available in the marketplace for $0.99 right now!
It’s a children’s app for reading and writing comprehension, and designed for ages 4-6.
For the most part it’s very simple, but served as an excellent way for me to learn XAML, in addition to the guidelines and framework for Windows and Windows Phone 8. It currently utilizes the text-to-speech API, and the next iteration will take advantage of Windows Phone’s excellent speech-to-text.
