I’ve followed this chapter but when I create the archetype and adjust any of the settings, it doesn’t have any effect on my pawn, it just stays in first person?
It could be a number of issues, but it sounds like your camera isn’t being used, or the values you are adjusting are not actually tied to the variables.
Have you followed the code, line by line? Often the problem comes from people not creating the archetype correctly.
Read through these comments. Someone ran into a similar issue, and it was due to the way he was creating the archetype. Hopefully that resolves your issue.
It could be that as when I created the archetype I created it from tutorialcameraproperties as I couldn’t get those properties up by creating an archetype from camera?
