I figured it was about time I added another tutorial for UDK. This time I thought I would implement one for 3D games, using an over the shower style view, which zooms in when you press a key, like Gears of War or Mass Effect.
It’s very simple to implement, and just takes a beat of tweaking to a few .ini files and creating a few classes. This tutorial won’t be nearly as detailed as the others, as I just don’t have the time for it right now, but if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Nearly all of the code was taken straight from this thread on the UDK forums, but needed some alterations to get it in working form.
Please note that I was using the August 2010 build of UDK for this.
